A Bid from the Great Shepherd to His Precious Sheep

I am waiting for you; Come away with me

Let us have a good time and have a chat; Let Me quiet your soul and calm your storms

I am very close to you. All you need to do is look within you

Let us go into the garden like we used to in the beginning and let us have sweet fellowship together

My sheep listen to my voice and they heed to my call

Forget all your passions and desires. Lay your earthly crowns before me; For i have a better one

Come away from the lion’s Den of temptation and dwell with Me

Its going to be fun, wild, exciting and amazing

Open up your heart and let me in

That the King of glory might come in

For the earth is Mine and the fullness of it. The world and they that dwell in it

This is the generation of those who seek Me

They shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of their salvation

Let us conquer the nations together

Let me feed you with My strength and power

Let me clothe you with My garment of Righteousness

Let me satisfy your thirst with my sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness of my presence

Come away with Me

Are You A Burning One?

I cannot begin to overemphasise how much the riches of the inheritance of believers are. The Bible says we are joint heirs with Christ. Everything He has belongs to us. Including his suffering. We should always feel privileged to be considered worthy of suffering for Christ because God has promised great things for ones like those.

In light of the many revelations the Holy Spirit has given me recently from the word of God, my faith in God has really been propelled to unbelievable levels. I have been trying to get informed with the revivals around the world; both past and present. I have looked at the Jesus Culture website and trust me, the work God is doing in that ministry is amazing! God has told me specifically He is pouring out His Spirit amongst young people and that word has been a major propeller for my interest in past and present revivals in the church. God is building up a holy generation. The Bible says all christians are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. In case you don’t understand the depth of what a royal priesthood is i will try and explain it a bit. You are royalty because you are a child of the King of Kings. You are a prince/princess. Infact, right now, whether you feel it or not, you are seated together with Christ in the heavenlies. The moment a christian comes to understand this great mystery is the day the nations will be shaken.

I have been so consumed by the love of God and His faithfulness that i just want to offer my entire life as a sacrifice to Him. This should be the same for all christians. We are set apart. We must separate ourselves from the things of the world. We must give ourselves as sacrifices to the service of God. We must be consecrated ones. Priests unto God to shake the earth and declare forth the glory of the Most High. We must be dedicated to Him. Sanctified for His glory. When Jesus prays to His Father in John 17 He says: ‘I have given and delivered to them Your word and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world.’ We must always keep at the back of our minds always that we don’t belong here. Our Home is in heaven. Remember the child of whom you are always. You are Yahweh’s child. Jesus goes on to say: ‘Sanctify them by the Truth; Your Word is Truth’. Jesus asked His Father to separate His children for Himself. To consecrate them and make them holy ones.

I have had to learn to separate myself totally from the things of the world these few days and God has been faithful to clothe me with power by His Spirit to do His will. The truth is God sees our hearts. And if you really want to do His will and you cry out to Him for help, He’ll empower you and give you grace to overcome sin and kill the flesh. He will restore your mortal body back to life by the power of His Spirit. The Spirit of Holiness lives in you, and He wants to use you as a vessel to declare the glory of God in the earth.

Anyway, part of what God has been teaching me is how to be violent for the kingdom. The Bible says violent men seize the kingdom of heaven by force. In the amplified Bible in brackets it says: ‘A share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with the most ardent zeal and intense exertion’. God has been playing back His words to me for a long time and He said to me, ‘You will find me when you seek me with all your heart and your soul and mind and life’. And that is how i’ve been seeking God now. We must learn to get into the secret place with God everyday. The secret place for me is where i have my meeting with God quietly and alone. Its been an awesome experience for me these past weeks. God has taught me to sit down and have a meeting with Him and seek Him till He says something. Jacob was alone in the secret place when He wrestled with God. God is looking for someone to wrestle with Him and say, ‘I will not let you go until you bless me’, just like Jacob said to Him. That is Holy Violence. Interestingly i saw in Romans 15:30 where Paul wrote, ‘I appeal to you brethren for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love [given by] the Spirit, to unite with me in earnest wrestling in prayer to God in my behalf’. After i read this i thought to myself, ‘Wrestling in prayer to God?’. I checked the original greek word and it was sunagonizomai. The greek word agonizomai means to fight. God wants us to seek His face and cry out to Him for help. He wants us to have the same attitude that Jacob did. He wants us to take it as far as even when He afflicts us like He did to Jacob, we refuse to let Him go, and demand His help.

I have limited the power of God for so long and i believe it has come to the time God wants to show off. I went to a prayer meeting sometime ago and whilst we were praying i had a closed vision of three demons looking at a man who was surrounded by a hedge. I wondered what this was so i told the rest of the church. I’ve been praying about this and i believe God is about to start something like never before. Look around the world today. Great darkness has covered the earth due to the prince of the power of the air. As prophecied in Isaiah 60:22 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.  I really believe that christians need to wake up! The apostles were described by the people in their days as ‘men that shook the world’. That is what we should be as Christians. God is doing something in the earth right now that you don’t want to miss out on. You are the light of the world! The Bible says that Nations will come to the light of Zion and kings to the brightness of her light. You are a citizen of Zion. Submit yourself to the service of God. I’m looking forward to travelling to Nigeria this summer because there are people the devil are oppressing there. I know God doesn’t want this and i honestly can’t wait to cast out those devils in the name of Jesus. The sick will be healed and the lame shall walk! The blind men will see and if you were born without legs you will have to grow legs! All the islamic wars will have to stop when christians get down on their knees and cry out for deliverance from the God of Jacob. Our God is a great God and there is nothing hard for Him to do! He is looking for people to ask Him for big things and seek Him with all their hearts. He is shaking the nations! Jesus said if anyone believes in Him, they will do the things that He did; and they will do even greater things. I want those greater things! They that wait upon the Lord shall never be put to shame. The prophets in 1 Kings 18 hid in the caves! God wants His people to come out of the caves! He wants to start something great. Greater than you can ever imagine! I am a burning one! Burning with the fire of God for revival and for the nations to be healed! Go into the secret place! For the judgement of God starts with His household!

2 Chronicles 2:14 says: 14 If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

I don’t want anything without a revelation!

It just struck me how many christians read the Bible and see it just as a story or a few words. I remember trying to get on with one of those ‘Bible in a year’ plans. At the end of it i just gave up. The Bible actually bored the living daylight out of me to be honest. I was trying to tick the boxes. ‘Oh i’ve read 5 chapters today yay’.. But then i was struggling. Another way i’ve tried to read the Bible in the past as a young immature christian was to open it randomly and read the first thing i saw. It was like a magic trick. I closed my eyes then opened the Bible; the first thing i saw was what God wanted to say to me lol. I remember hearing a joke from Joyce Meyer once. She said she used to do the same thing in the past, and then one day she opened it and it was somewhere in lamentations she read, ‘WOE BE UNTO YOU, YOU WICKED SINNER’. I couldn’t help but laugh to that cause i could relate to it entirely.

For others, the Bible is just to be read on a sunday. For the rest of the week it gets dusty. Don’t make me get you lol. Don’t think you would ever have a glimpse of an idea of who God is if you read the Bible just on sundays, and listen to a sermon from the pastor at your church!

I’m not saying getting ‘read through the Bible in a year’ plans won’t work out for you. It will work out for you, if you have the right motive behind it. If its just an exercise out of compulsion, or out of the fact that you want to make God happy with you, then its a waste of time. God doesn’t need you to read your Bible to be happy with you. You are not doing Him a favor. Reading your Bible just on sundays is definitely not how you can grow in the knowledge of God too. I might as well just add now that if there’s anything in your life that you’re using to replace the time you need to spend with God to know Him more, then there’s a problem. Work God around your schedule not your schedule around God. If anything needs to leave your schedule on a daily basis, it mustn’t be God.

I had tried all these methods in the past so i know how it is. And sometimes people really do want to read the word and get into it. Sometimes they really want to, but they can’t. Its almost like they’re striving.

I believe that strivings should never exist in a good relationship with God. Many times we get caught up trying to do things by ourselves, instead of relying on the power of God. You want to have faith? You don’t need to practice methods or routines; Cry out to God, ‘HELP MY UNBELIEF’. You truly from your heart want to spend time with God? And read His word? Cry out to Him, ‘Lord i need you!’. Prayer must always be the first line of action if we want a good relationship with God. God gives grace(the power of the Holy Spirit), and more grace to the humble. He wants you to realise you can’t do it on your own and you need Him to help you. You cannot kick the Holy Spirit out of your daily businesses. If you do, everything crumbles down. When Jesus left his disciples He gave them the Holy Spirit, to be with them. He is your counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, stand-by, and strengthener.

We must never read any verse in the Bible without a revelation. No, not even a word. I know about quite a lot in the Bible now, but i don’t know them. The difference between knowing them and knowing about them is the revelation. The revelation from the Spirit of God. The breath of God upon every word you read, imparting a spiritual knowledge to you; revealing the great and mighty mysteries of the Godhead. This was why Paul prayed for the corinthians that they might have a Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Without a revelation the Bible is just words and stories. I have an agnostic friend who has read the entire Bible but still doesn’t believe in God. Without the breath of God, the word is not living to you. The Bible says God has exalted all His word above all His name. Think of all the mighty names of God, His word is respected more by Him than His names. The word of God is Life to your bones, and to your soul. You would know when you have a revelation from the word because you would never remain the same after. It is not about singing ‘Jesus loves me yes i know for the Bible tells me so’. Do you really know He loves you? That type of knowledge comes with revelation. And it was not until i had a revelation on the love of God i could describe the love of God as a mighty flood that fills all your being, and tears you apart. His love is fierce, it shakes you together. It transforms you and moves you into His presence. It leaves you with hunger and thirst for more of Him.

Don’t ever read any part of the Bible without a revelation. Ask God for a revelation and He will give you.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (AMP)- 29 But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life.

The worshipper after God’s heart

I’ve been listening to a couple of worship songs today and its been so refreshing for me. There’s nothing more peaceful and sweet than being able to offer praises to God that you know He accepts, and letting the deep mysteries and truths of the gospel of Christ sink into your heart, through the use of worship songs by the Spirit of God.

I admire quite a number of worship leaders. Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Hillsong United, Jeremy Camp, Natalie Grant and many others. They are countless. However, as i was listening to some worship songs today, i came across a song by Jesus Culture titled ‘Rooftops’.

I don’t know any of the other names of the members of Jesus Culture except Kim Walker. I listened to this song ‘Rooftops’ today after almost a year of hearing it for the first time on TV at home. And i remember what my first reaction to it was, even when i wasn’t as spiritually mature then as i am now. I was excited and i was full of joy. The song stuck to my heart after it was played and i wanted to hear it over and over again. It wasn’t because i thought the tune or the beat was nice. It wasn’t because Kim Walker sang well. Looking back now, i’m realising that it was the lyrics of the song, and the fact that the song was anointed by God to minister to people. I remember looking at Kim Walker on the video, and thinking, ‘There has to be something different about her’.

Funny enough, i looked up her name on wikipedia today and she was described as ‘the worship leader for Jesus Culture’, and ‘the worship pastor for Bethel Church’. Then i’m thinking to myself, ‘What is the difference between a worship leader and a worship pastor’.

From my little experience of leading worship in the past and present, i guess there are a lot of misconceptions on my path. I remember leading the worship at the youth class at my church in Nigeria. For me, i was there to impress people. They had to hear MY good voice. They had to know i could do runs and riffs. It was all about ME. I remember leading the worship once and immediately after, someone said ‘Wow do you go to a music school or what?’… Smiling and raising my shoulders high in the air i replied, ‘No i don’t’. My point had been proven. My ego had been satisfied. They knew i could lead the worship. What Pride! It’s things like this i remember everyday and i tell God: Lord i don’t deserve to be alive. I deserve all your wrath and punishment. But then you sent Jesus in my place, to take all the punishment i deserved, to drink from the cup of Your wrath on the Cross. The Omnipotent God died; not just death of any kind, but the worst kind of death on a Cross. The kind of death reserved for the worst of sinners. His mercies are forever.

I remember another time when i was in a christian boarding school, i led worship a few times in the mornings. It didn’t go as good as it went at church, but as usual, it was all about me. Another misconception i’ve always had until recently was if i didn’t sing many worship or praise songs when i was leading, then i didn’t lead well. Well, that misconception is not just with me but with many churches in Nigeria. I guess you might say it is the cultural difference as nigerians like to dance and sing very fast songs which is understandable. I’ve come to realise that even if it is just 1 worship song sang by the church for 30 minutes, as long as it pleases God, and the presence of God is made manifest, then why not.

I’ve been seeking God on how He wants me to worship Him. The last thing i remember Him saying is ‘with all that you are’. When i say worship here, i refer quite strictly to praising God, as we know that worship is not just about singing some songs on a sunday and going around the rest of the week living your life as though you haven’t been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. The broad meaning of worship, is how we dedicate our lives to the service of God. The Bible says the primary purpose for the creation of man was to worship God. I believe that means more than praising Him with singing or words, but extends to letting our lives glorify Him, and letting people look at us, and on seeing the risen Christ in us, even unbelievers would glorify our Father in heaven. But in this post, i’m referring mainly to the corporate worship with other believers in your local church. I’m talking of what David did continually all the days of His life.

God wants people to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. God hasn’t given me a revelation on this yet but i believe we can learn a lot from the book of psalms. I believe that all worship leaders should always seek God before choosing any worship songs prior to the service. That would be my advice but i understand God can lead them during the service at various times to sing certain songs. We must always remember it is not about the music, or the song, or the worship leader, but about God. Therefore God must be actively involved in the song choices, and the appointment of a worship leader in a church. The song should not be chosen because it sounds ‘nice’ or the worship leader because they’ve got the best voice, but the Holy Spirit must motivate any choices made. The heart of worship is coming into the presence of God with thanksgiving in your heart and entering His courts with praise. The heart of worship is nothing to do with us, but everything to do with God. Its all about Him. Not how you look to other people in your church, or how good you sound when you’re singing, but if your praise is acceptable to God. Remember this tomorrow when you’re worshipping at your church; It is nothing about you. It is everything about Him.

A Thirst and Hunger For Righteousness

I pray in the name of Jesus, that as you read this there will be, a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit, operating in your minds, and stirring your hearts and minds with the most holy emotions. I pray that this post will be inspired by the Holy Spirit, for without His inspiration these are mere words. Finally, i pray like Paul prayed for the Ephesians, to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him; By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones).

I cannot begin to put in words how thirsty and hungry i have found myself for a deeper knowledge and understanding of who God is, and how much i want to be what He wants me to be, and to be holy as He is holy. I have found that i’m in a real big need of help for this. For example, sometimes i may behave nice to someone, but deep inside there’s something not right. Something yelling out at them and in constrast to my visible actions. And it doesn’t bother me one bit about admitting and sharing this, because i have come to have hope and put my faith in the promises of God, that my heart will be purified by His greatness of the power.

I’m happy i can feel the thirst in my heart for Holiness, because that’s the first step to allowing God to transform you and transfigure you into His likeness. God spoke to me some days ago and He said: ‘I am always ready to transform you, if you are humble enough to let me. I give more grace to the humble, and empower them to do what i want them to do, and to be equal to anything. But i set myself against the proud and the haughty. They are too proud to realise they need help. For it is Not by your power nor by your might or striving but by My Spirit, who lives in you’

The Bible says those that hunger and thirst for righteousness will be completely satisfied(Matthew 5:6). If you want to be a fruit bearing christian, the first step is to have that hunger and thirst. Ask God to reveal the darkness in your life, and when He does, admit to your weaknesses. That way He will give you grace to overcome your shortcomings and weaknesses. He will shine His light upon you, and lift you up from the miry clay, setting your feet upon a rock. I have also come to realise that the only way God’s power can be revealed through my life, is through my weaknesses. If i’m strong, then i’m not in need of His power. But because i am weak, i’m strong IN HIM, and His power comes upon me and pitches a tent over me.

I have truly come to realise that the christian life is based on grace through faith. Everything we get from God is a gift of grace. We never deserve it. But because of the cross, God looks to the right of His throne, and Jesus intercedes for us continually, therefore IN CHRIST, we deserve the grace of God. But we can not receive God’s grace if we do not believe. We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8) and this could apply to many other ways in which God bestows his grace upon his children. Faith is the hand receiving the grace of God already made available.  We need to come like little children, and believe what God says without any doubt, and receive his power to overcome every evil tendency. I dare you to believe the promises of God today. Only believe and you will see the glory of God(John 11:40). And even then, apart from Him WE CAN DO NOTHING. He is the vine and we are the branches. If the branches are cut away from the tree, can they bear any fruits?(John 15:5). Therefore, we should cry out daily to the Lord and lift up our voices to His holy mountain saying, ‘HELP MY UNBELIEF'(Mark 9:24). At that point He comes to our rescue, and through His word, helps our unbelief, for Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

God is sovereign. He reigns in all the affairs of men. He sits on His throne and laughs in mockery at the foolishness of the supposedly wise people in the world, and He delights in the ways of the righteous, for they are the ones that are truly wise. For their wisdom is not of their own, but of Him. He uses the weak and foolish things in the world for His glory, and shames the wisdom of man through them. The knowledge of the sovereign Lord, and the true belief in the truth that JESUS IS LORD, brings the people of God into a state of rest and peace. The knowledge of this has transformed and renewed my mind in a great way, for i know that all things work together for those that love God and are called according to His purpose. I don’t have to live in fear or anxiety, because Jesus is Lord. I don’t have to care about my circumstances because Jesus is Lord. O death, where is thy sting, o grave where is thy victory? For to live is Christ, and to die is gain. And Jesus has defeated sin and death, and by the glorious power of the Father, was raised from the dead and is now seated at His right hand. The Lord may not always take away my difficulties and problems; No, He may even give me more and more of them and afflict me as He pleases. For can the potter say to the clay, ‘Why have you made me thus so?’. The Lord sits on His throne. Our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases(Psalm 115:3). But in this will i rejoice in and will i bless the name of the Lord: He is faithful to His promises. He is abundant in mercy, grace and lovingkindness. He never gives His people more than they can bear(1 Corinthians 10:13) and He always provides a way out where there seems to be no way. He is true to His promises, and He will never leave us nor forsake us in our weaknesses. He strengthens and hardens His chosen ones to difficulties, yes He will help them; Yes He will hold them up and retain them with His victorious right hand of rightness and justice(Isaiah 41:10).

Therefore i have an eternal hope. A hope that never dies. For that same power that lifted up Jesus from the dead is at work in me. Think of a hurricane or the fiercest of storms; still that power is greater than all of these. Therefore, i rejoice in the hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God by the power of the Spirit in me.The surpassing, immeasurable, unlimited, greatness of His power in and for us who believe, bringing us into deeper knowledge of God and the wonders of His person, exerting that power in us, that He may also continually restore our mortal bodies. For death comes by the works of the flesh, by Life by the fruits of the works of the Spirit in us. Therefore, i offer my body as an implement of righteousness, becoming a slave and prisoner to the will of the Spirit. I present my body, mind, will, and emotions, as a living sacrifice, holy, devoted, consecrated, and well pleasing to God which is my reasonable service and spiritual worship.

Now i don’t have to worry about anything. I look to the Face of the Lord, and not His hands. For when i look to His face, He opens His hands. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all its righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and insistently require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty, the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple(Psalm 27:4). And that one thing He has granted me by the blood of the Lamb, and by the righteousness He imputes to His people; For the righteous shall be planted in the house of the Lord. They shall flourish in His courts. Growing in grace, they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment](Psalm 92:13-14). He just wants us to come as we are. With all our broken pieces, and all our shameful scars. He wants to heal us with the power of His love. He wants to set us free, for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Free from sin, fear, doubt, strivings, labor, tiredness, hopelessness, shame… the list is countless. He wants to give us beauty for ashes. The beauty of Holiness. For He said: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.](Matthew 11:28). Leave your luggage for the Lord in His presence, and take His yoke upon yourself. For His yoke is wholesome, useful, goodnot harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant, and His burden is light and easy to be borne.

For my determined purpose is that i may know Him…

A Revival of The Youth

Unfortunately, due to several reasons, including preparations for my upcoming exams i haven’t been able to post any articles recently.

However, i just stumbled on a website i found very interesting called Y! Naija and its a website that focuses on the voice of the youth in Nigeria. It addresses the national political issues of Nigeria and attempts to motivate young people who wish to see a change, to be informed on everything that goes on in the country. All the writers of the articles in this website are young people. You can check this website at http://ynaija.com/.

I saw many interesting comments and thoughts on this website i would love to make some comments on. Firstly, just like most members of the Nigerian youth community, my greatest desire is to see a change in Nigeria. It would be crucial to state from the start that i believe very strongly that the problems faced by Nigeria, have nothing to do with the wicked and corrupt government in Nigeria or the Nigerians that sit around always wishing something happens, but have their totality and roots founded upon the activities in the spiritual realm. Although those factors influence what’s happening, i believe we need to get to the root of the problem. Nigeria is not different from other countries in the world also facing various problems so there’s nothing surprising to me about Her present predicaments. The basis of my belief is from scripture that clearly says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities and powers, and rulers of the darkness OF THIS WORLD.

In case you didn’t know, Satan is described in the Bible as the prince of the power of the air. He controls majority of the people that are in power, and the systems of this world . However, we have read the end of the book so we know what his end is going to be like.

Why does the world always seem to think they have figured out everything when they have kicked God out of it? Why does it take so long to realise that once God is not in it, then nothing’s in it? These questions seem to puzzle me all the time.

I saw quite an amusing poll on Y! Naija. It was a poll on which nigerian is changing the image of nigeria for the best and the options were:

Ngozi-Okonjo Iweala

 Goodluck Jonathan

As soon as i saw this, it didn’t take me ages to vote for ‘None’. Surprisingly, some people voted for an afrobeats singer that has done nothing but sit down in a studio to write very nonsensical lyrics like, ‘Its your boy wizzy’. I’m not against his music, but i wouldn’t understand why anyone would consider him to be someone who has changed the image of Nigeria for the best. If anything, he has changed the image of nigeria for the worst in my opinion. There is not an element of logical thought used in the construction of the lyrics, neither does it encourage the nigerian youth to do something worthwhile with their lives. Little wonder every tom, dick and harry wants to get involved in music in Nigeria these days. Sigh.

After looking through many articles for sometime i finally saw one that i could agree with with its headline, ‘Abacha supported ‘Nigeria Prays’-Gowon’.

Finally, God was being brought into something. This article was about how a former Nigerian military Head of State, Yakubu Gowon gathered with some nigerians in diaspora to discuss the possible solution for Nigeria’s countless problems. After the meeting, they concluded that they would form an organisation called, ‘Nigeria Prays’, where intercessors would be gathered from all over the country to pray to God concerning its issues and seek His face. I think this is good and an essential starting point. I’m happy about this, and from time to time i always keep Nigeria in my prayers.

I’m very encouraged to see the nigerian youth are concerned about what is going on in that country. This is what we need. We need more active people and less passive people. We need people to start doing something and stop wishing something changed. I believe with all my heart that God wants to start a revival amongst the youth in Nigeria; this is just the start of it. I believe there is going to be a spiritual awakening that the forces of darkness will not be able to prevail against, because the Spirit of God will be working with and in the youth.

Personally, i am forever dedicated to working with God, to bringing a change in Nigeria. Whatever he asks me to do, i will do. And i don’t have to be scared about anything like an assasination because if God sends me He will keep me from the evil one until the job He wants to be done is done. I believe in the royal priesthood(Revelation 5:10) of all true christians, and i believe in the immesurable, unlimited, and surpassing greatness of the power of God in and for those who believe in Him(Ephesians 1:19). My prayer to God in these times is: Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger and disfavor and spread it out to all generations? Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.(Psalm 85:5-8)

I’ll conclude with one of my favorite Bible chapters where Jesus prays to the Father, just close to the time He was going to be taken to be crucified.

John 17:15-18-     15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
